Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier plans to keep his celebrations simple. Shazier’s simplified celebrations have good reason.
“I can’t dance. Really,” Shazier said, per Will Graves of the Associated Press.
Shazier’s had opportunities this season to show off his dances moves, or lack thereof. The Steelers inside linebacker leads the team with 57 tackles and has a team-leading 2 interceptions on the year. He’s also recorded 2 forced fumbles and 1 fumble recovery through seven games.
The Steelers have been some of the biggest beneficiaries from the NFL’s lax celebration rule. Pittsburgh perhaps had the best celebration of Week 7 when JuJu Smith-Schuster, Antonio Brown and Le’Veon Bell played a game of hide and go seek ensuing a touchdown in the second quarter.
