Steelers LT Alejandro Villanueva gave Antonio Brown the highest of compliments

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver is in the middle of the best season of his career, and left tackle Alejandro Villanueva is well aware of that.

When the Steelers needed huge plays late in their Sunday Night Football victory against the Baltimore Ravens, it was Brown making the 20-plus yard plays to move them down the field rapidly.

Villanueva basically said that Brown is the Steelers’ MVP.

“You take AB out of the equation and (this season) is a completely different story,” Villanueva said, via ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.

Through 13 games, Brown has 99 receptions for 1,509 yards and 9 touchdowns. That stat-line would likely guarantee him a first-team All-Pro selection without playing another snap this season.

However, with three games left to go, Browns 2017 season could go down as one of the best seasons an NFL wide receiver has ever had.  There is a strong argument to be made that he should be the first ever wide receiver to win NFL MVP.

Not a bad for a 5-f00t-10 wide receiver from a small Division I school who was drafted in the sixth round of the 2010 NFL Draft
