The Oakland Raiders signed NaVorro Bowman on Monday, and it appears that he will have to get to work right away.
Because of injuries to Raiders linebackers Corey James and Marquel Lee, Bowman will likely start on Thursday Night Football against the Kansas City Chiefs, according to CBS Sports’ Tracy Wolfson.

The San Francisco 49ers released Bowman on Oct. 13. He was arguably the best inside linebacker in the NFL during the 2013 season before it was ended during the NFC Championship Game when he tore his left ACL and MCL in the fourth quarter. The injury kept him out for the entire 2014 season.
He returned the field in 2015, and was named first-team All-Pro in a year where the 49ers struggled mightily on the field. However, his next season was ended four games in due to another severe injury, a ruptured left achilles tendon.
Bowman started all five games he played for the 49ers in 2017.
The Raiders needed some help on defense, and if Bowman remains healthy he will be a huge addition. He will get his first chance to show himself to the nation against the Chiefs.
Unfortunately for him, even though has been with the Raiders for a week, he has not had much time to practice with a Thursday night game in his first week with his new team.
