The Cleveland Browns may have lost left tackle Joe Thomas for the rest of the 2017 season.
The Browns fear that Thomas may torn his triceps during a 12-9 loss to the Tennessee Titans, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
A 2017 season that started with a great deal of promise, is spiraling downhill for the Browns. Some games have been close and some have not, but the facts are that seven games into the season, they are sitting at 0-7.
After what was considered a strong 2017 NFL Draft, and additions such as linebacker Jamie Collins on defense, the Browns were supposed to be on the right track.
Instead, they appear to still not have a franchise quarterback, second-round pick DeShone Kizer has been benched in two of their last three games, and there is still not one aspect football that the team excels at.
One of the few bright spots on the team every season is Thomas. He has been named first-team All-Pro six times, and made 10 Pro Bowls. He is going to go down as one of the best players to ever play his position, but it hasn’t led to more wins for the Browns. They won 10 games in his rookie season, and haven’t won more than seven games since.
