New England Patriots Tom Brady is dealing with an injury to his non-throwing shoulder.
Brady sprained the ac joint in his non-throwing shoulder in the Patriots’ loss to the Carolina Panthers on Sunday. He suited up for practice on Wednesday, but did not participate.
When talking to the press Brady said “I’m good. I’m not worried about it.
“I’ll be there Sunday. Don’t worry about it, I’ll be there.”
Brady is not one to miss starts. Since being named as the Patriots starter the only games he has missed are in 2008 when he tore an ACL, and in 2016 when he was suspended four games.
However, Brady is now 40-years-old. He has played professional football for nearly 20 years, and it obviously has taken a toll on his body. His injuries are not going to heal the way that they have in the past.
There is no guarantee about how the rest of Brady’s career will play out, but if he has his way there is no way he will miss Week 6 against the New York Jets.
