The New England Patriots are getting healthier, slowly but surely. While this specific week has included a bit of concern about the status of both quarterback Tom Brady and tight end Rob Gronkowski, both players seem to be somewhat in the clear, at least in terms of their status.
As Rich Hill of Pats Pulpit reported, Brady told the media not to worry about his shoulder injury, and that he’ll “be there Sunday.” To go along with that, Jeff Howe of the Boston Herald reported that Gronkowski will be all-systems-go as well, after missing the team’s Week 5 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
With those two names cleared up, it seems that just one name is still in question for the Patriots ahead of their Week 6 matchup with the New York Jets. As Kevin Duffy of MassLive reported, Eric Rowe is the only player who wasn’t at practice on Friday.
Rowe, who’s dealing with a groin injury, seems unlikely to play this weekend against the Jets. He’s played in just three games this season, totaling seven combined tackles.
