New England Patriots rookie linebacker Harvey Langi was involved in a car accident on Friday night, according to a report from Doug Kyed of NESN.com.
Langi was with his wife at the time of the accident and injuries are reported to be serious but not life-threatening. The BYU
The BYU product was signed as an undrafted free agent in the Class of 2017. The Patriots targeted him early in the process and gave him an unusually large guarantee with a $15,000 signing bonus and $100,000 in assured base salary to lure him to New England.
Langi made the 53-man roster coming out of training camp and has dressed for one game thus far in the season. In the Week 2 win over the New Orleans Saints he played in 6 defensive snaps and 12 special teams snaps.
