Patriots LB Harvey Langi’s horrifying car accident photos posted by Foxborough Fire

New England Patriots linebacker Harvey Langi was involved in a serious car accident on Friday night and the Foxborough Fire Department published photos of the horrifying scene to their Facebook page on Saturday afternoon.

Langi and his wife were driving on Fisher St. in Foxborough when they were involved in a three-car rear-end collision. The jaws of life had to be used on one vehicle, though it’s unclear yet whether they were used on Langi’s car.

At the moment, Langi and his wife are believed to have suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries. The New England Patriots released a statement on the accident on Saturday afternoon.

“We are aware of the traffic accident involving Harvey Langi and a passenger last night in Foxborough. The two were stopped at a traffic light when they were rear-ended by another vehicle,” the Patriots statement reads. “They were both transported to a local hospital with injuries and are receiving medical attention. Our thought are with Harvey, the Langi family and those who sustained injuries in last night’s accident.”

According to the Foxborough Fire Department, five total patients were transported to area hospitals as a result of last night’s accident. The Mansfield, Walpole and Plainville Fire Departments all assisted on the call.
