New England Patriots wide receiver Chris Hogan won’t be available in Week 15.
Adam Schefter of ESPN reported that Hogan will be inactive on Sunday when the Patriots take on the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Hogan’s shoulder needs more time to recover. The receiver first injured his shoulder on Oct. 29 against the Los Angeles Chargers. He missed four games due to the ailment. The 6-foot-1 pass catcher returned last week but affect by the shoulder in a 27-20 loss to the Miami Dolphins. As a result, the team opted to sit him down this week.
The Patriots acquired wide receiver Kenny Britt as insurance for this very reason. Britt is expect to make his debut with New England against the Steelers on Sunday.
