The New England Patriots are set to travel to face the division rival New York Jets in an interesting Week 6 matchup. While the Jets weren’t expected to be sitting at 3-2 at this point in the season, and are still getting overlooked, they’ve had a solid start and the history between these two teams is well-documented.
Now the two will meet in a battle of three-win teams, and Patriots head coach Bill Belichick was asked about the Jets during a press conference. He had nothing but praise for his opponent and didn’t hold back when it came to special teams and the offense.

It’s no surprise to hear comments like this from Belichick. He’s one of the best coaches in the NFL when it comes to keeping his team focused on the team in front of them, and not looking ahead.
While the Jets may not seem like the toughest competition for the high-powered Patriots, New England is tied for the second-most points allowed per game this season at 28.4. The potential for a high-scoring game is certainly there, but New England is also fresh off a Week 5 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in which they allowed just 14 points.
