Packers WR Davante Adams sounds off on Thomas Davis

Carolina Panthers linebacker Thomas Davis delivered an illegal helmet-to-helmet hit on Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams in Sunday’s 31-24 win over the cheeseheads.

The recipient of the hit is sharing his feelings.

Unfortunately, this is not an isolated incident for Adams. He was on the receiving end of another vicious hit in Week 4 by Chicago Bears linebacker Danny Trevathan. The Week 4 hit concussed Adams.

Week 15’s big collision resulted in another head injury for the Packers wideout.

Adams suffered a concussion on the play in which Aaron Rodgers threw an interception. The Packers wideout wasn’t anywhere near Panthers safety Colin Jones during the interception return when Davis delivered the big hit.

Davis was visibly upset, knowing he had made a mistake following the play. The Panthers linebacker could be subjected to a fine or suspension by the league. We’ll see what time of punishment is levied down by the NFL.
