Max McCaffrey is rejoining the Green Bay Packers.
McCaffrey re-signed with the Packers practice squad on Tuesday, per Rob Demovsky of ESPN.
The receiver’s bounced around from team to team in his short time in the NFL.
McCaffrey signed with the Oakland Raiders as an undrafted free agent in 2016. He was cut by Oakland and signed by the Packers last season. Green Bay released him earlier this year and he signed with the New Orleans Saints practice squad before the Jacksonville Jaguars signed him to their active roster. Jacksonville cut him last week, and now we are here with the receiver.
McCaffrey’s younger brother, Christian, plays for the Carolina Panthers and his father, Ed, is a former NFL wide receiver.
In another roster move, the Packers released offensive lineman Don Barclay of their IR, per Demovsky.
