Green Bay Packers put QB Aaron Rodgers on injured reserve

The Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is officially on injured reserve.

The Packers announced on Friday that they made the move, one day after Rodgers had surgery on a broken collar bone in his throwing shoulder. Rodgers suffered the injury after taking a hit from Minnesota Vikings linebacker Anthony Barr on Sunday.
