Cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie is back at the New York Giants’ team facility. Although, that doesn’t mean he’s out of the dog house.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Rodgers-Cromartie met with Giants coach Ben McAdoo on Thursday morning and McAdoo informed him that he is indeed still suspended indefinitely.
The Giants suspended the corner on Wednesday for walking out of team activities.
Under the collective bargaining agreement Rodgers-Cromartie can be suspended up to four weeks.
Rodgers-Cromartie isn’t the only issue going on at cornerback for the drama-filled Giants. Janoris Jenkins left the field early in last week’s loss to the Los Angeles Chargers and Eli Apple was bench during the game due to poor play.
The Giants probably can’t wait to Sunday so they focus solely on the game at hand. Unfortunately, football hasn’t worked out too well either for the winless Giants.
McAdoo and the Giants travel to Denver to face the Broncos on Sunday night.
