Denver Broncos quarterback carousel continues spinning out of control

The Denver Broncos quarterback situation has been deteriorating since even before the franchise took home their third title at Super Bowl 50 and life after Peyton Manning continues to be incredibly unkind.

In 2017, the Broncos have been forced to utilize three different quarterbacks as their starter at various points in the season and it appears as if there is going to be yet another change in the coming weeks.

After naming Trevor Siemian the starter and then handing Brock Osweiler the reins, former first-round pick Paxton Lynch returned from injury to take over only to find himself injured once again. However, with little to play for and little confidence in Siemian, who eventually regained the starting job, it looks like Denver is turning back to Lynch.

According to a report from Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the Broncos are considering giving Lynch the job for the final two games of the season in an effort to see what he can do as they look to make drastic changes heading into 2018. Pending further evaluation of a right high-ankle sprain he suffered against the Oakland Raiders on Nov. 26, he’ll be back in the lineup against the Washington Redskins in Week 16.

This will be the fourth change in starters since Siemian won the job over Lynch during the offseason and it really tells you just about everything you need to know about what has been a miserable season in Denver.
