DeShone Kizer is the Cleveland Browns’ new quarterback but his actions on Friday night were similar to frustratingly similar to an old one.
Kizer went out parting on Friday night. His actions out on the town disturbed Browns coach Hue Jackson, according to Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com.
WOIO Channel 19 obtained video of Kizer partying with teammates at a downtown Cleveland night spot at 1:30 Saturday morning.
The footage was seen by Jackson and he was not pleased with what he saw.
“It means a lot to me,” said Jackson, per Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com. “A guy’s personal time is his personal time, but I still think that’s not what our guys do. I think our guys work at what they do, and I would be surprised if that happened. I have never heard of that. I don’t think DeShone has that kind of character or personality that way. That is what it is.”
The winless-Browns had a light practice on Saturday which to be sure infuriate Jackson even more.
Kizer played like he too much fun on Friday night. The rookie quarterback was benched in the third quarter after throwing back-to-back interceptions.
Appropriately, the Browns went on to lose again on Sunday to the Tennessee Titans to fall to 0-7 on the season.
A new quarterback and a similar situation still persists in Cleveland.
