Von Miller, the Denver Broncos’ best player, will be on the field Sunday night. Denver’s opponent, the New York Giants won’t have the same luxury.
Odell Beckham suffered a season-ending broken left ankle in Week 5’s 27-22 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. It was a debilitating blow to a winless Giants team in a current state of turmoil.
The Giants will attempt to salvage their season and avoid an 0-6 start this weekend in Denver. As for Beckham, the wide receiver had surgery this week and Miller had a chance to talk to him
“I talked to [Odell Beckham]. It’s just a tough situation,” Miller said, per Tom Rock of Newsday. “The type of person Odell is, I know he’ll come back stronger and better.”
Miller pretty much echoed Beckham’s sentiments on social media.
New York will be severely crippled on the offensive end without Beckham. Yet, the Broncos don’t want to overlook the reeling Giants, especially with the AFC West rival Kansas City Chiefs being undefeated.
