Denver Broncos coach Vance Joseph said wide receiver Cody Latimer is feeling much better but his knee injury is still preventing him from practice.
Latimer didn’t participate in Wednesday’s practice with the team. The wideout is still a few weeks away from returning, per Zac Stevens of BSN.
The fourth-year receiver has 2 catches for 22 yards on the year.
Latimer wasn’t the only player who didn’t practice for the Broncos.
Cornerback Aqib Talib, running back Jamaal Charles and defensive lineman Domata Peko all sat out Wednesday’s session, via Mike Kliss of 9News in Denver. All three players were given a veterans rest day. They are expected to play in Week 6.
The 3-1 Broncos are preparing to face the winless New York Giants on Sunday night in Denver.
