Broncos RB C.J. Anderson: We are sick and tired of losing

In the midst of an eight-game losing streak and consequently a season falling by the wayside, C.J. Anderson and the Denver Broncos visibly frustrated.

Denver’s offense and turnovers have been the driving force behind their eight-game skid. Anderson and the Broncos offense will attempt to have better fortune on Sunday against a New York Jets team still battling for the playoffs.

“We all are sick and tired of losing,” Anderson said, via Nicki Jhabvala of The Denver Post. “I don’t know if y’all understand how much losing bothers people because y’all are not in it. You don’t feel it. It’s like going to your job everyday and it sucks. It just sucks. You’re talking to other players around the league and you’re seeing fun celebrations that you never got a chance to do. It just sucks.”

While it may “suck” that the Broncos continue to lose. Denver’s offense has nobody to blame but themselves. Ineptitude at quarterback, a leaky offensive line and ball security issues have the team’s offense ranked No. 23 in the NFL and 27th in points per game. Meanwhile, Denver’s defense is a top five unit in the league.

The Broncos haven’t won a football game since Oct. 1. If the team wants victory on Dec. 10, their offense needs to step up.
