McClain is a three-star prospect according to both Rivals and the 247Sports Composite rankings.
He led the GMC in rushing with 1,676 yards and scored 25 touchdowns. He also caught 24 passes for 416 yards and five touchdowns.
He is the No. 1-rated player in the Dayton/Middletown/Springfield area and the NO. 7 all-purpose back in the country.

At one time, McClain intended to verbally commit on July 4, but Fairfield coach Jason Krause said he has backed off that timeline out of concern he would not be able to make all of his official visits before then.
