Now they know who else coach Archie Miller’s team might play and when.

The school announced Thursday the winner of UD’s opening-round game against Nebraska will play UCLA or Portland in second round.

The other half of the bracket consists of opening-round matchups of Texas A&M against Cal State-Northridge and New Mexico against Virginia Tech.

The first-ever meeting between Dayton and Nebraska is set to tip off at 8:30 p.m. ET on Nov. 24 on ESPNU. The winner of that game will play the following day at Midnight ET on ESPN2.

The first two rounds of games are played at Cal State Fullerton’s Titan Gym, a 4,000-seat arena. The final round of games take place Nov. 27 at the Honda Center, which seats 18,000 in Anaheim.

The Flyers are 0-4 all-time against 11-time national champion UCLA, including a 79-64 Bruins win in the 1967 NCAA championship game. The last meeting was a triple-overtime game UCLA won 111-100 in the 1974 NCAA tournament.

Dayton played in the Advocare Invitational in Orlando during Thanksgiving week last season and the Puerto Rico Tip-Off in 2014. In 2013, the Flyers played in the Maui Invitational. In 2012, they played in the Charleston (S.C.) Classic.
