Flashback: ‘And the 1990 World Championship belongs to the Cincinnati Reds!’

Of course it is!

Admittedly, that is true of any day, but it’s even more appropriate on this day because it is the 27th anniversary of the Game 4 victory over the Oakland A’s that clinched the club’s fifth championship.

Here’s Marty Brennaman’s radio call of Todd Benzinger securing the final out.

Spoiler: It’s as classic as it gets.
