Victories over Gonzaga and California in Maui in 2013 helped the Flyers earn an at-large berth in the 2014 NCAA tournament when it reached the Elite Eight.

Since last playing in Maui, Dayton has played in the Puerto Rico Tip-Off, the Advocare Invitational in Orlando, the Wooden Legacy in California and the Charleston Classic in South Carolina. It will play in the Battle 4 Atlantis in the Bahamas in November.
