Dayton Flyers: How five UD basketball alums are doing in NBA G League

Kostas Antetokounmpo, Texas Legends: The first-year pro has averaged 10.5 points and 6.3 rebounds in 35 games. The Dallas Mavericks promoted him in January, but he did not enter a game before returning to the G League.

Charles Cooke, Sioux Falls (S.D.) Skyforce: The 2017 UD graduate has averaged 14.1 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 32 games. He's shooting 38.3 percent from 3-point range.

Cooke is one of 13 players training with USA Basketball this week at the University of Miami (Fla.) in preparation for the final two qualifying games for the 2019 FIBA World Cup. Team USA plays Panama on Feb. 22 and Argentina on Feb. 25 in Greensboro, N.C.

This is Cooke’s second season in the G League. He played for Salt Lake City and Greensboro last season and also appeared in 13 games for the New Orleans Pelicans.

Jordan Sibert, Erie (Pa.) Bayhawks: The 2015 UD graduate has averaged 15.1 points and 5.4 rebounds in 34 games. He's shooting 42.3 percent from 3-point range and ranks third in the league in 3-pointers made (112).

Sibert started his pro career with Erie in 2015 before heading to Europe, where he played in Greece and Germany.

Scoochie Smith, Canton Charge: The 2017 UD graduate has averaged 11.5 points, 4.2 rebounds, 6.2 assists and 1.6 steals in 35 games. Smith debuted with the Charge at the end of last season after starting his pro career in Cairns, Australia.

Chris Wright, Oklahoma City Blue: The 2011 UD graduate has averaged 10.4 points and 4.5 rebounds in 30 games. This is Wright's third season with the Blue.
