West Virginia lost a little bit more from their secondary with an injury to Toyous Avery.
WVU Radio reports that Avery has been taken to the locker room for X-rays after walking off the field.

Derrek Pitts Jr. will enter the game in his place.
West Virginia is struggling with an inspired Baylor team at homecoming, and can’t afford many more players out.
The Mountaineers are playing fantastic defense, but their offense has been dramatically slowed by a Baylor defense that is finding its sea legs. Will Grier has been very accurate, but penalties and a struggling ground game have allowed Baylor to get off the field consistently.
West Virginia is still on track to win this game, that much is assured. Baylor is simply getting too close for comfort, and West Virginia can shoot up the rankings with an emphatic win. Unless they start scoring some points, they won’t get the dominating win they want.
