Wisconsin’s D’Mitrik Trice, Kobe King out indefinitely with injuries

Wisconsin basketball took a big blow on Saturday.

The Wisconsin Sports Medicine Staff announced that point guard D’Mitrik Trice and guard Kobe King will be out indefinitely with injuries.

The release states that Trice has a right foot injury and will undergo surgery on Monday, with his rehab process beginning in 2-3 weeks. The release was vague on the specifics of King’s injury, but it did state that the freshman will not play in the Badgers’ game on Saturday against Marquette due to a left knee injury.

Trice has averaged a team-high 31.5 minutes per game this season. In addition, the sophomore is third on the team in scoring with 9.4 points per game and second in assists with 2.3 assists per game.

King, who has appeared in all 10 games for the Badgers this season, has averaged 5.2 points and 19 minutes per game.

Wisconsin and Marquette will tip off at noon ET (on FS1) at the Kohl Center in Madison.
