Wisconsin senior wide receiver Jazz Peavy will be out against Purdue with a right leg injury according to the team’s injury report released Thursday.

Peavy has just five catches for 55 yards this season but has been a big target for the Badgers over the past two years, catching 43 passes in 2016 for 635 yards and five touchdowns.
He also rushed 21 times for 318 yards and a score, but only has seven yards on three carries this year.
That may be because his injury was lingering according to coach Paul Chryst.
#Badgers Chryst said injury to Peavy has been lingering and could have affected him in previous games.

Despite the down production so far this season, Peavy has been counted on for senior leadership with a young receiving corps.
Also on the injury report are two offensive linemen listed as questionable in Jon Dietzen and Micah Kapoi, among others.
Wide receiver George Rushing is also listed as out, among others as well.
