Jack Cichy turning pro

It was going to be a long shot anyway, but linebacker Jack Cichy has decided not to apply for a sixth year of eligibility at Wisconsin. The former walk-on wrote in the Players’ Tribune on Tuesday that while he’ll always be with the Badgers, he’s making himself available for the 2018 NFL Draft.

Badgers look to rebound

Wisconsin is off to its worst basketball start in more than 30 years and just lost two important pieces in its backcourt. Jeff Potrykus of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel looks at the Badgers’ attempt to regroup with still so much of the season to play.

Mark Tauscher chosen for Packers HOF

It was announced Tuesday that former Wisconsin offensive lineman Mark Tauscher had been chosen along with kicker Ryan Longwell to be inducted into the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame next summer.

Wisconsin players on ESPN All-America teams

ESPN released its All-America teams this week and a pair of Badgers were on them. Junior T.J. Edwards was a first-team All-America selection at linebacker, while running back Jonathan Taylor was a first-team selection for the 2017 Freshman All-America team.

Wisconsin comes in 13th among fan bases

In a very subjective ranking, the Badgers came in 13th among all college fanbases in the country, according to fansided.com. Ohio State was No. 1.
