Badgers get much-needed win

Wisconsin got its basketball season headed back in the right direction Wednesday night, beating Western Kentucky in dramatic fashion 81-80 to snap a two-game losing streak. Freshman Brad Davison hit the game-winning free throw with 2.0 seconds left to help the Badgers move to 5-7 on the year.

Paul Chryst a finalist for major award

Under coach Paul Chryst, Wisconsin went 12-1 in 2017 and won the Big Ten West for a second straight year. His efforts have led to him being named one of seven finalists for the Paul “Bear” Bryant Coach of the Year award.

Assistant coach gets a new job

Wisconsin quality control coach Antonio Fenelus will apparently be joining Badgers graduate assistant Al Johnson as he takes over as coach at East Central University.
