Another offer for Graham Mertz

The offers continue to roll in for Graham Mertz. On the same day Wisconsin’s 4-star quarterback commit arrived in Madison for a visit, he revealed on Twitter that Tennessee had offered him a scholarship.

Some Wisconsin fans have been a little worried about Mertz tweeting his offers, but Randy Withers of Rivals.com reports Mertz talks with the Badgers every time he gets a new offer and “has their blessing to tweet them.”

Jesse Temple also tackled the topic of committed players being offered, saying fans should meet those offers with respect, not fear.

Former Badgers Beau Allen and Chris Maragos, both members of the Philadelphia Eagles, will be honored Sunday during the basketball game against Michigan State for their part in their team’s Super Bowl 52 victory over the New England Patriots.

Meanwhile, a number of former Badgers played a major role in Team USA grabbing gold at the Winter Olympics in South Korea with a win over Canada on Thursday morning. That included captain Meghan Duggan, whose leadership is being lauded in the aftermath.
