Will Grier got some honors from the Big 12 for his 375 yard, five touchdown, and no interception performance.

It may not be accurate to call him a newcomer at this point, but it is his first season in the Big 12. Grier has been ripping up the stat sheets for a while now, last weekend’s performance was his second week in a row with five touchdown passes, a first in West Virginia history.
On the season, Grier has a 66.3 completion percentage, and 2,467 yards on the year. The vast majority of his 26 touchdown passes have been to David Sills, who has a whopping 15 touchdown catches on the year.
Grier will have his biggest test next, a home game against Oklahoma State. The Cowboys have been vulnerable on defense outside of their most recent contest against Texas, and there’s definitely a strong chance WVU can win this game outright. The winner keeps their Big 12 conference title hopes alive, as all roads are leading to a rematch with TCU right now.
