Texas Tech is down one recruit after losing to Iowa State, 31-13, on Oct. 21.
Wide receiver prospect Myron Mitchell announced on Sunday that he had decommitted from Texas Tech and is reopening his recruitment, according to a post on his personal Twitter account.

Mitchell, who is currently at Butler Community College in El Dorado, Kan., originally committed to the Red Raiders on April 20th.
The Jasper, Ala. native is a three-star prospect and was recruited by Butler as the No. 24 prospect from his class in Alabama, per the 247Sports composite rankings.
Mitchell has not received an offer from any Division-I program other than Texas Tech, per 247Sports. You can view his highlights from Butler Community College below.
