What West Virginia fans said after their comeback win over Texas Tech

The comeback for West Virginia over Texas Tech today was one for the ages.

The Mountaineers scored the final 29 points of the game to pull out an improbable 46-35 triumph.

It snapped a nine-game losing streak to ranked opponents and was the second-largest fourth-quarter comeback in the history of Milan Puskar Stadium.

Needless to say, it excited West Virginia fans who feared another loss was in the making when they trailed by 18 points late in the third quarter.

Chad Eagle: “I’ll admit, I was getting angry seeing where this was potentially going to go. Even turned off the game out of frustration. But so glad I turned it back on. They persevered and overcame a good Texas Tech team.”
