What Roy Williams said after North Carolina fell to Texas A&M in the NCAA Tournament

North Carolina saw its season come to an end with an 86-65 loss to Texas A&M in the second round of the NCAA Tournament on Sunday in Charlotte, N.C.

The teams were locked in a tight battle to start the first half. But Texas A&M used a 15-0 run spanning nearly 5 minutes to jump ahead 28-20 with 6 minutes, 57 seconds remaining in the opening period. The Aggies would not surrender the lead, growing their advantage to as much as 24 in the second half to advance to their second Sweet 16 in three seasons.

It was a disappointing end to a pair of great careers for Joel Berry II and Theo Pinson. The senior duo had hoped to end their time with North Carolina with back-to-back championships, but Texas A&M was far and away the better team as the Tar Heels season came to a premature end.
