What Purdue coach Jeff Brohm said after 17-9 loss to Wisconsin

Purdue had its chances against Wisconsin on Saturday afternoon. The Boilermakers just couldn’t capitalize.

The Boilermakers forced three turnovers in its game against No. 7-ranked Wisconsin, but got zero points off of those turnovers. In a game that concluded with a final score of 17-9, any points Purdue could have gotten may have changed the game entirely.

With the eight-point defeat at Camp Randall Stadium, the Boilermakers are now 3-3 overall and 1-2 in Big Ten play. Purdue’s leading rusher in the game was D.J. Knox, who ran it seven times for 31 yards.

For the Badgers, freshman sensation Jonathan Taylor continued his early-season dominance with a 30 carry, 219-yard performance.
