What Notre Dame coach Brian Kelly said after dominating victory against USC

In a game against two teams hoping to prove they once again belong on the nation stage, Brian Kelly’s Notre dame Fighting Irish absolutely dominated rival USC, beating the Trojans, 49-14.

Behind three touchdowns off of USC turnovers, Notre Dame built a 28-0 halftime lead. In the second half, quarterback Brandon Wimbush continued the domination, rushing for his second touchdown of the night to tie a school record with 10 rushing scores in a season.

Running back Josh Adams capped off the night with an 84-yard rushing score and then a 14-yard touchdown scamper. Adams finished with 191 rushing yards and 3 scores. As a team, Notre Dame rushed for 377 yards and 5 touchdowns.
