Here’s a sampling of what Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy said after the Cowboys’ wild 13-10 overtime victory at Texas.
His comments were made to ABC-TV immediately after the game.
On Oklahoma State’s defense:
“No question our defense played its best game of year. They played hearts out. Their quarterback was tough, but our guys made plays and Ramon made the play at the end. Sometimes, that’s what it takes.”
“I give them a lot of credit to Texas. They played a hell of a game.”
On Oklahoma State’s effort:
“We had a few issues, but I’m proud of our team. We continued to fight. We do things the right way.”
On the game:
“That was a hell of a football game. We made too many mistakes on offense and special teams.”
On Texas punter Michael Dickson:
“Their punter about won the game.”
