STILLWATER, Okla. — Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy kept his shirt on, but he still had reason to be a happy man after Oklahoma State’s 59-16 victory over Baylor on Saturday.
After punting on their opening drives, the Cowboys didn’t slow again, thrashing the Bears behind quarterback Mason Rudolph’s seventh career 400-yard game. The victory snapped the team’s three-game losing streak to Baylor.
Here’s what Gundy had to say after the victory.
On defense’s performance after Baylor’s opening touchdown: “Defense, coaches did nice job adjusting after the first drive. They ate up seven minutes. Didn’t play well first series, missed a pass. We got going there in the second and third quarter.”
On the weather: “It was windy. In this stadium, it swirls. … It was a little bit of an issue, but it is for both sides.”
