What David Cutcliffe said after Duke’s loss to Pitt

After a sleepy first half that saw Duke trail Pitt by a 7-3 margin, the Blue Devils went back and forth with the Panthers before losing 24-17.

Pitt was powered by the play of Darrin Hall, who had 254 yards and three touchdowns on the ground, including the go-ahead 4-yard score with 10:48 left in the game.

Duke wide receiver T.J. Rahming finished with eight receptions for 142 yards and a touchdown.

After starting out the season 4-0, Duke has dropped back to .500 with four straight losses, the last three of which only by seven points apiece.
