Despite a slow start that resulted in a 21-11 deficit midway through the first half, Kansas pulled away from Penn in the first round of the NCAA Tournament for a 76-60 win.
The Jayhawks now prep for the winner of No. 8 Seton Hall-No. 9 NC State for their second round matchup on Saturday.
Devonte’ Graham led Kansas with 29 points while Mitch Lightfoot nearly had a double-double with nine points and 11 rebounds.
