West Virginia quarterback Will Grier, despite suffering a late-season injury, showed what he was capable of all season for the Mountaineers.
The Florida-transfer was named to Pro Football Focus’ All-Big 12 second-team on offense Saturday with a grade of 91.5 — the highest of any player.

West Virginia offensive guard Josh Sills joined Grier among Mountaineers who made the cut.
Grier, in his first season playing for West Virginia, threw for a total of 3,490 yards and 34 touchdowns before suffering a hand injury against Texas on Nov. 18. Grier missed the regular season finale against Oklahoma and underwent surgery.
Grier is one of the most experienced quarterbacks set to return among Big 12 teams for the 2018 season. Oklahoma’s Baker Mayfield, Oklahoma State’s Mason Rudolph, TCU’s Kenny Hill and Texas Tech’s Nic Shimonek are all moving on having completed their senior seasons.
