West Virginia makes unique fashion statement before Saturday’s game

The West Virginia football team had a fresh fashion statement on their way  into Milan Puskar  Stadium.

In honor of homecoming, the West Virginia players all sported bow ties to set them apart from most teams on their way into the stadium.

It’s another tradition for West Virginia. Venerable West Virginia president Gordon Gee has made bow ties his own personal trademark over the years.

Here are a few glimpses of how the team looked today on their Mountaineer Mantrip into the stadium today.

The Mountaineers have to hope the bow ties help them once the game begins. It looks like they’ll be involve in a shootout against Texas Tech.
