West Virginia WR David Sills announces return for senior season

The West Virginia Mountaineers will be looking extremely strong in 2018 now that star wide receiver David Sills has announced that he’ll return for his senior season.

According to nfldraftscout.com, Sills is ranked sixth among draft-eligible wide receivers. He’ll have another year with stellar quarterback Will Grier to move that ranking even higher.

The combination of Sills and Grier was lethal for opposing defenses in 2017. The pair linked up for 980 yards on 60 catches and a ridiculous 18 touchdowns. Sills had more receiving touchdowns than 49 FBS teams.

With his return now official, the Mountaineers will be looking extremely good coming into 2018. Nic Shimonek, Baker Mayfield, Kenny Hill, Mason Rudolph, and Jesse Ertz will all be graduating, leaving the majority of Big 12 teams looking for a new signal caller. Grier will undoubtedly be the most experienced quarterback in the conference next year, and with Sills to throw to, the pair will likely break even more records.
