WATCH: West Virginia players sing ‘Take Me Home, Country Roads’ after amazing comeback vs. Texas Tech

West Virginia pulled off an incredible rally against Texas Tech on Saturday, and there’s no better way to celebrate than with that old John Denver classic.

The Mountaineers sing “Take Me Home, Country Roads” at every home game, but this one felt special after a comeback 46-35 win against the Red Raiders.

West Virginia overcame an 18-point deficit in the third quarter by scoring 29 unanswered points to seal the victory. Will Grier was incredible, completing 32 of his 41 passes for 352 yards with 5 touchdowns and an interception. Wide receiver David Sills caught 3 touchdowns, extending his nation-leading mark.

The win moved West Virginia to 4-2 on the season and 2-1 in Big 12 play. Next up, the Mountaineers go on the road to play Baylor on Oct. 21.
