KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Tennessee sophomore quarterback Jarrett Guarantano isn’t one to back down from a challenge.
That’s one guess as to what led to Guarantano’s ill-fated attempt at a forward somersault off a diving board at the UT Aquatic Center on Saturday.
Guarantano, a confident, charismatic quarterback from New Jersey, effectively did a face plant into the water during the Special Olympics Polar Plunge on Saturday.
Tennessee offensive line teammates Brian Garvey and Trey Smith had some playful fun with their good friend on Twitter as a result of his dive.
Guarantano, always one to do his part for charity and enjoy his teammates, no doubt had a good chuckle at himself, too.
