The NCAA Tournament is full of surprises. And not all those surprises happen with coaches and players involved.
On Friday, Texas A&M faced Providence in West Region play of the NCAA Tournament in Charlotte, N.C. At halftime, an interesting dance competition between a Texas A&M yell leader and the Friars’ strange-looking mascot took place. It’s a marvelous sight to behold.

They had a ‘mascot’ dance off during a time out here in Charlotte — an Aggie yell leader vs. that creepy thing from Providence (and I mean that with all due respect of course): #ScaryMovieGhostFace pic.twitter.com/IVQCrtd7g8

There are some strong moves involved in this dance off. You have to admit the Texas A&M yell leader had an advantage with a lot less weight to carry around. Still, that fact makes what the Providence mascot accomplished even more impressive. Let the debate about who’s better carry on.
Keep your eyes peeled for amazing displays of dancing throughout the month. After all, not all the memorable action that takes place during the NCAA Tournament happens in expected places.
