Brent Cimaglia wasn’t messing around.

The Tennessee kicker, who received the start after Aaron Medley was ruled out because of an illness, made a 29-yard field goal to give the Volunteers a 3-0 lead in the first quarter. He did some quality talking after the attempt, as well.

Check out what happened below after South Carolina defensive lineman D.J. Wonnum bumped Cimaglia.

You have to love the fight shown by the Vols’ kicker.

Tennessee will need to display a spark with lots of criticism swirling around the program in recent weeks. The Vols’ 3-2 start led to many talking about Butch Jones’ job security, and Tennessee needs a victory against South Carolina in a big way to calm the waters in Knoxville.

Hat tip to Cimaglia, though.
