Syracuse Orange quarterback Eric Dungey struggled in the first half, throwing four interceptions in the first 30 minutes against Miami. So he decided to use his legs more in the second half.
That worked quite well for Dungey and the Orange. The junior signal caller pulled Syracuse within a point of the Hurricanes on the road with 5 minutes left in regulation.
And it’s not as if Dungey was just scrambling for his life and giving himself up by sliding. He was practically drop-kicking defenders, trying to run them over with power.

That’s quite an effort from a quarterback who has suffered from concussions in the past. Dungey ran for 97 yards on 18 carries versus Miami.
