Watch: OU safety Robert Barnes plants K-State QB Alex Delton

Well, Oklahoma is struggling against Kansas State. Sooners can still be happy about their freshman safety Robert Barnes, who annihilated Alex Delton.

Oklahoma has given up a ton of yards on the ground so far, but not on this play. Barnes plays with good pad level and used great form to stop Delton in his tracks.

If every Sooner defender tackled like this, you might see some changes in how many points they give up. Tackling has been a struggle for the Sooners as of late, but this will be a bright spot in the film room.

The Wildcats rushed for over 250 yards in just the first half of play. It’s easily the most visible crack in an Oklahoma team that can’t afford to be falling apart right now. There’s still a lot to play for, but only if you get the win. A win against Kansas State keeps you in the College Football Playoff conversation, a loss means you’re out.
