WATCH: Penn State students sing alma mater to celebrate rout of Michigan

Penn State fans made history on Saturday.

The Nittany Lions faithful at the 42-13 rout of Michigan set a Beaver Stadium attendance record. They then saw Heisman favorite Saquon Barkley make the Michigan defense look silly for much of the game.

After the rout, a popular Penn State tradition continued as students sang the alma mater.

The students, dressed in white as part of the White Out, stood arm-in-arm and loudly sang in victory

At 7-0, Penn State proved it’s a leading College Football Playoff contender with No. 1-ranked Alabama.

The Nittany Lions have another chance to impress the nation in Week 9, as Penn State plays at top-10 Ohio State. The game is set for 3:30 p.m. ET on FOX.
